9/27/21 - This is a very nice example of an "SVW 46" Mauser P.38 assembled by the French in 1946 using leftover Nazi parts. It is all matching and has a French Star proof on the right side of the slide. There is a "Waffen 135" Nazi military proof on the barrel. This one also comes with desirable "Gray Ghost" French grips and a waffen-proofed magazine. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its dull finish. Generally, there is minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Minor thinning on the top of the barrel, through the ejection port. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is splothcy discoloration throughout. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
