9/28/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All numbered parts are matching, and it has the proper waffen military acceptance proofs throughout. Comes with an original cleaning rod and leather sling. We believe the gun has been professionally restored, so the metal parts have a very nice look to them. They have retained most of their new bluing with minor handling marks here and there and some areas of minor pitting on the barrel that have been blued-over. The stock is excellent. There is what looks like a number that is illegible. There is a visible "Eagle H" military proof on the right side of the butt stock. The butt plate looks like it is missing a pin. The bore is very nice - shiny with good rifling.
