4/11/22 - This is an excellent example of a Walther PP manufactured at the end of the war in 1945. This is a GI mismatched gun put together by an American GI at the very end of the war. It has no proof marks, indicating it was never issued and never made it out of the Walther factory. It properly has no slide legend and has an "ac" Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is very minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. Tiny dots of oxidation throughout. Comes with nice period-correct grips - the left panel has some separation from the contraction of the metal insert. Also comes with a rare late-war "w"-marked magazine. Mint bore.
