10/1/21 - This is one of the approximately 5,000 Model 1906 DWM Lugers made for the Royal Portuguese Army. The Royal Portuguese Crest of Manuel II is present on top of the chamber. Chambered in .30 Luger. This one is all matching and has "triangle in circle" Portuguese markings throughout. This one also comes with a removable cleaning rod guide which is there to protect the bore when cleaning. It has retained about 90% of its finish. There is minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some spotty wear on the barrel and an area of wear on the front strap. There is spotty oxidation throughout (especially on the straps) and areas of very minor pin-pricking around some of the high edges and left side of the frame. Comes with nice wood grips with minor bruising here and there. The left grip panel is hand-numbered to match. It comes with a properly un-numbered wood-bottom magazine that has a Portuguese proof. The rifling in the bore is bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
