9/22/21 - This is a nice example of an early Remington UMC Model 51 semi auto pistol, chambered in .380 ACP. It is all matching and has retained about 90% of its original finish. There is spotty wear on the slide (concentrated around the high edges and the muzzle) and on the straps. Noticeable Pin-pricking in the same areas. There is an area of minor pitting near the rear sight. Some light scratches on both straps and a streak of wear on the back strap. Comes with very nice bakelite grips (small dings on the right side) and a proper magazine. The bore has strong rifling with areas of minor pin-pricking here and there.
