9/17/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It has retained roughly 60% of its finish. There is significant wear on the front strap, left side of the slide, front edges on both sides of the slide, and around the muzzle. Spotty oxidation oxidation and minor pitting in the same areas. Minor wear on the high edges in general. There is also spotty wear on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent late-war reddish grips and a period-correct jvd magazine (some areas of surface rust). The bore has strong rifling with some areas of frosting. De-cocker is functional.
