9/16/21 - This is a nice example of an Inglis Hi Power issued to the Canadian Armed Forces in October of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper Candian military proofs. There is no Canadian Maple leaf insignia on the front strap. There is, however, a "412" marking on the front strap. We're not sure of the meaning - could be a unit marking. It has retained about 85% of its finish. There is minor wear around the high edges and thinning on the whole underside of the frame, including the front strap. Also some thinning on the back strap. There is an area of oxidation toward the front of the left side of the frame. Lanyard ring is intact. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and a proper "JI" marked Inglis magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout.
