9/15/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. It comes with a slightly worn tan leather 1944-dated holster (no visible waffen proof) and a period-correct un-numbered Walther magazine. The bottom of the magazine has a series of small dings and dents. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the front strap, so the profile views are very nice. There is minor wear at the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. An area of minor spotty wear on the right side of the slide. One very small area of mionr pitting on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish grips. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
