9/10/21 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in July of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. There is an asterisk marking on the right side of the slide, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. The finish is a little dark, so we believe the gun has been "Russian dippped". No "Russian X's". In any case, it has retained about 96% of its finish. There is minor wear on the front strap, on the front edges of the slide, and around the muzzle. There are small spots of discoloration and minor pitting on the barrel. Comes with excellent grips and an un-marked magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
