10/1/21 - This is an excellent example of an end-of-war Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in March of 1945. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs. The finish is a little dark, so we think it has been "Russian dipped" - no other Russian capture signs. It has retained virtually of its finish with some very minor handling marks and some light freckling on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips that look like they've been cut down. It also comes with a period-correct jvd that is numbered but mismatched. The bore has strong rifling with some minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
