9/13/21 - This is a minty example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. This one is of the scarce "Straight Line" AC 43 variation. This one is in the correct "n" serial block for this variation. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs. This one is unique because the military proofs are out of sequence from what we normally see on the right side of the slide. We're not sure why. It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is very minor wear and oxidation on the front strap. Just hints of wear on the high edges. Some very light scratches on the right side of the slide. A few small dots of minor oxidation on the barrel. Comes with excellent reddish grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
