9/13/21 - This is a nice example of a rare BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the slide. This is a rare variation, as the Nazi police only acquired about 1,400 of this configuration. It has retained somewhere between 80-85% of its finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also thinning on the barrel and scratchy wear on the high edges of the slide. Some small dots of oxidation on the barrel, right side of the frame, and on the front strap. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct Mauser magazine. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
