9/10/21 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in May of 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. It also has an asterisk proof on the left side of the frame, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. The gun has retained about 95% of its finish. There is thinning on the front strap and on the barrel through the ejection port. There is very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent grips and an un-marked magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
