9/8/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi police force in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper police "Eagle L" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It has retained about 94-95% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the back strap. There is also minor thinning on the underside of the frame and hints of wear on the high edges. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are small areas of noticeable pitting here and there and spotty oxidation in the same areas. Comes with nice dark wood grips and a late-war flat-bottom phosphate magazine. Mint bore.
