9/10/21 - This is a very nice example of a JP Sauer K98 Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All numbered parts are matching, and it has the proper Nazi military proofs throughout. Both barrel bands are un-numbered. It does not come with a cleaning rod. It has retained most of its finish with minor wear on the high edges, light handling marks and areas of oxidation here and there, and spotty discoloration on the receiver. The stock is un-numbered but is waffen-proofed. Two holes have been drilled in the stock for additional sling attachments. There are several noticeable gouges in the wood, and there is some separation/cracking on the underside of the butt stock. The bore has good rifling with areas of pitting here and there.
