9/10/21 - This is an excellent example of a Fazakerley No 5 Mk 1 Jungle Carbine manufactured in April of 1946. It is all matching and has an "FMP" marking on the receiver, indicating it was issued to the Malaysian police force. There is an import mark on the barrel. It has retained most of its finish. There is some scratchy wear and patina on the magazine. The stock has some minor bruising here and there and looks to have had a lacquer applied. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
