9/8/21 - This is a nice example of an early Sauer 38h sold in the commercial market around 1939. It is all matching and has the proper commercial "Crown N" proofs. It has retained roughly 85% of its early high polish finish. There is wear and dark brown patina on the straps. There is wear around the high edges of the slide and tiny dots of discoloration on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips (small chip in the left grip) and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore.
