9/2/21 - This is a nice example of a French Mauser HSC manufactured immediately after WW2. It is all matching, has a lanyard ring at the base of the frame, and has French proofs. It comes with a half moon magazine and nice wood grips (the left was cut on the top left corner). The gun has retained about 85% of its finish. There is thinning, spotty discoloration and oxidation, and some small dings on the straps. There are a few small pits near the lanyard ring. There are areas of scratchy wear on the underside of the frame and some on the slide. One faint streak of wear on the right side of the slide. Mint bore.
