9/1/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1914 that was originally sold in the commercial market, reworked, and issued to the German police in the 1920's. This one is all matching and has the proper "Crown U" proofs. There is also a "1920" rework stamp on the left side of the frame and a "S.P.I. 43." police unit marking on the front strap. It has retained about 95% of its finish. Most of the wear is around the muzzle. There are also some handling marks along the top of the slide and some spotty wear on the front strap. Comes with a nice brown grip (minor dings and bruises) and a proper magazine. The bore is very nice - shiny with good rifling.
