8/13/21 - This is an excellent example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in October of 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. This one also has three asterisks, two on the left side of the barrel and one on the right side of the barrel. These markings indicate the barrel failed inspection several times and was sent back to the factory for repair. It has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some light scratches on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore has great rifling with frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
