8/12/21 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1940. It is all matching, has a Mauser Banner logo on the toggle, an added police sear safety, and a police "Eagle L" marking on the right side of the slide. This one also has "Crown BNP" British proofs, indicating it was likely captured by the British and exported out of England. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear around the high edges, some minor dings on the barrel, just a hint of thinning and patina on the front strap, and a spot of wear at the base of the front strap. Comes with excellent un-numbered grips (the right panel has a waffen proof) and a matching magazine. Minty bore.
