8/12/21 - This is an excellent example of a Steyr Model 1912 issued to the Nazi police force in the 1940's. It is all matching, has a period-correct "Eagle N" firing proof, and has a Nazi police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the frame. It has an "08" marking on the left side of the slide, indicating it was re-chambered in 9mm. Austrian proof on the right side of the trigger guard. This particular example also has period-correct embellished grips and an embellishment on the top of the slide. It looks like a drop of solder that was stamped with the Austrian Eagle. It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is very minor thinning and minor pin-pricking on the straps. A few scratches on the right side of the frame. An area of discoloration on the slide around the solder. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
