8/9/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 655" military proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 93% of its original finish. There are areas of very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, on the top of the barrel, and bases of the straps. Some tiny dots of oxidation on the side plate. Very minor thinning and brown patina on the straps. Comes with nice un-numbered waffen-proofed grips (small dings on the left side) and a period-correct mismatched magazine. The bore has strong rifling with areas of minor freckling throughout and an area of minor pitting.
