7/27/21 - This is an excellent example of an exceptionally rare Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. This gun is exceptionally rare as only about 850 guns of this configuration were ever produced. It is all matching, has a police sear safety, and has an "Eagle K" marking on the right side of the slide. It also has a "Lt. Edward M. Ryan SN 0-1862177" custom engraving on the front strap - we assume it is the name of the GI who brought it home. It is in excellent condition, retaining about 97% of its bluing. There is minor wear on the side plate and hints of wear on the side rails. Minor freckling and patina on the straps. It comes with excellent matching grips and an un-numbered "42"-marked armorer's replacement magazine. The bore has strong rifling with spotty freckling throughout.
