8/2/21 - This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 37" military proof. The interesting thing about this gun is the lack of finish. From the serial number, this is not an end-of-war gun and there is no evidence the finish was removed. So we believe this gun was never finished, for whatever reason. That remains a mystery. In any case, there is spotty oxidation and tiny pin-pricking throughout. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore.
