7/30/21 - This is a very nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP that was initially made to be sold in the commercial market around 1940 but was then diverted to the Nazi military. Chambered in 9mm. The gun is all matching and has the proper commercial "Eagle N" proofs. It also has an "Eagle 359" Nazi military proof on the left side of the slide. Also on the left side of the slide, for some unknown reason, the matching serial number was electro-penciled. The gun has retained about 91-92% of its original high polish finish. There is spotty wear on the front strap and scratchy wear on both sides of the slide, concentrated around the high edges. Some small spots of wear on the barrel as well. Comes with excellent grips and an un-numbered Walther magazine. The bore has strong rifling with noticeable freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
