7/16/21 - This is a nice example of an FN Browning High Power Rig issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 140" military proofs. It comes with one period-correct magazine (no proofs) and a nice 1944-dated waffen-proofed holster. The gun has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. There is noticeable wear and thinning throughout, concentrated around the high edges, around the muzzle, both sides of the frame, and on the straps. Tiny dots of oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the straps. A few scratches on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent wood grips. The bore has decent rifling with spotty freckling throughout. It also includes a rare 1941 dated holster with 'epf' maker mark and fairly clear waffenamt. The holster is in decent shape but does show some age, as the leather has softened some and there is wear on the mag pouch.
