8/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther G43 Sniper Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper waffen military proofs throughout. The gun comes with a nice period-correct leather sling, a ZF4 sniper scope (excellent optics) and scope mount (not matching). The scope has what looks like a black painted finish. The barrel has a really nice plumb finish. The gun has retained most of its original finish. There is spotty oxidation on the barrel and barrel band and minor wear on the high edges of the receiver. The stock is very nice with minor dings and scratches here and there. It is waffen-proofed and matching to the gun. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and small spots of oxidation here and there. Comes with one period-correct magazine.
