8/10/21 - This is an excellent example of a Yugoslavian Zastava M48BO bolt action rifle manufactured in the 1950's-60's. The original M48 had the Yugoslavian crest on the chamber. In the 50's and 60's, Zastava was making these for export with the crest. The "BO" stands for "bez oznake" or "without markings". No import marks. This one is all matching, including the stock, and has retained most of its finish. There are areas of minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. Scratchy, spotty wear and light thinning on the barrel and floor plate. The stock is excellent - there are a few minor dings here and there. One small gouge on the left side near the rear sight. Comes with a German-made leather sling. The bore is stone-mint. Would make a great shooter.
