8/16/21 - This is an excellent example of a Waffenwerke Brunn K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper Nazi military proofs throughout. It looks like there may be a faint asterisk marking on the receiver. It has retained most of its finish with small spots of oxidation and brown patina throughout. Some minor thinning on barrel around the rear sight. Some light scratches on the front barrel band. The stock is nice, but has likely been lightly sanded and a very thin layer of lacquer was applied. It is "dot" proofed and has a faint "Waffen Eagle H" proofed on the right side of the butt stock. There are some very small dots of white paint on the butt stock. Comes with a cleaning rod and a period-correct leather sling. Mint bore.
