12/1/17 - This is a "last ditch" production Luger holster made from leftover factory materials. This is evident from looking at the different types of leather that make up this holster. The back leather is ersatz style (pressed paper material), while the lid, front body, and closure strap are leather. Finally the magazine pouch and closure strap holding tab are an even different style/cut of leather from the other two styles. The stitching is all in tact and there are no markings. A fairly unique piece of history helps to paint the picture of what was going on at the end of WW2 in terms of production quality.
