9/10/19 - This is a beautiful example of a Arisaka Type 38 Carbine rifle. One of, if not the nicest we've offered. The rifle has beautiful bluing throughout and minimal wear. The straw colored parts are also retaining most of their finish. The bolt release lever has a hint of speckling near the hinged end. The buttplate of the stock has thinning / finish loss throughout. The wood stock is excellent despite many minor dings. The mum has been removed as shown on the receiver. The bore is excellent as well with strong rifling and minimal signs of residue, 9/10 overall. Smooth operation and fully functional. The bolt is matching to the receiver, but the side bar on the bolt is not matching numbered to the rest of the gun. Priced accordingly.
