10/27/20 - This is an original C96 Mauser Broomhandle leather harness with an original cleaning rod. These leather harnesses attach to a wood stock, and are fairly scarce. The back of this harness is dated 1918 and maker stamped. There are also "L.Z.A." stamps on both the front, interior, and backside leather. These are shown in photos. The stitching is in tact and all original, as is the leather. The toe of the cleaning rod is missing leather, as shown and there are various areas of wear / aging.
