9/30/21 - This is an original WW1 era Luger magazine with a wood base. The base has a chip in the left "ear" or side of the wood. The base is serial numbered 8971 L with a plus sign underneath. These markings are faint yet still visible. The magazine tube has some mild patina but no major rust or pitting. Fully functional spring.
