9/2/21 - This is an original Walther P.38 magazine from late WW2. The magazine has a "U" under the P.38v stamp on the left side of the tube. This means they skipped the metal hardening process, a late war feature. The magazine is also stamped on the spine with an eagle 359 military acceptance stamp. The bluing is thinning throughout, but overall the magazine is in great shape. Strong, functional spring.
