7/5/19 - This is an original 1939 production transitional T14 nambu. We consider this "transitional" because there are some early features, like straw parts, and some later features like a larger trigger guard. The finish is hard to rate because although there's very minimal finish loss, there are a number of areas where you can see browning patina and speckling within the finish. Notable areas are the front and back straps and barrel. Overall a very nice pistol though in excellent condition. About 95% overall. The bore is 8/10 with minor signs of use but no major issues. The magazine is a little tight, and doesn't really need the push button to release, but this is typical for wartime T14 nambus. Fully functional and the slide stays back with the magazine in. All matching numbered except for the magazine, which is at least period correct. Grips are not numbered, but original.
