9/3/19 - This is an original ZF 4 scope for a WW2 era German rifle (K98, G43, K43). The scope is marked "Gw ZF 4 dow" with "27622" underneath. There's also a green triangle next to the "dow" stamp, which is an indication for military use. The scope has some light patina and minor edge wear but is in excellent overall condition. The optics are crisp and clear, but there is some very very minor freckling. Overall an excellent piece.
