8/18/20 - This is an artillery luger cleaning rod. We think that the wood might be replacement. The wood spins on the rod fairly easily, which we've seen on originals, but we've also been told that this is a sign of reproduction. Priced accordingly. The rod does show patina and good aging throughout (except on the wood), which suggests authentic. No stamps or markings.
