8/15/19 - This is an original WWI era production leather rifle sling. Most likely used with a 1903 Springfield during WWI. The leather strap is in very nice overall condition considering its' age, but there is some normal scuffing, light surface cracking, and signs of use as shown in photos. There is a very faint stamp on the leather that looks like "BOYT" and "18" underneath for 1918. (Honestly it could either be "42" or "18"). This was very hard to get a good photo of.
