8/14/20 - This is an extremely rare, original Gewehr 98 rifle magazine attachment from WW1. This 25 round fixed magazine allowed shooters involved in trench warfare the ability to fire much more before needing to reload. This magazine has a hand-scratched dedication to the battle on Vimy Ridge, and is dated April 9th, 1917. The exterior black painted finish is excellent with minimal finish loss. Most of the loss is on the underside / base of the magazine. The original chain is complete and in tact as well. The spring is strong and fully functional.
