12/19/18 - This is an original WW2 production Arisaka Type 99 Rifle with the original mum in tact. According to my research, this rifle was made in the Kokura Arsenal. The bolt and metal dust cover attachment are mis-matched to the receiver. The bolt is all matching to itself though. The receiver has some patina and thinning of the original finish, but the mym is excellent and completely in tact. The metal overall is in about 80% condition with wear throughout but the original finish remains. There is rust on the floor plate and on the butt plate. The stock is in great condition with no major issues. The leather strap has light wrinkling / cracking throughout, and a few places of scuffing, but the strap is completely in tact. The bore has some wear and residue throughout, but the rifling is in tact. We'd rate the bore about 6/10 overall. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
