9/18/18 - This is an original 1939 dated "42" code Luger from WW2. The pistol is all matching and correct with normal, honest wear leaving the pistol in about 90-92% condition. The bore is excellent with minimal signs of use and strong rifling, a 9 out of 10 overall. The muzzle, barrel, side plate, and straps bear most of the wear on this piece. The grips are in great shape with no cracks or chips, and the left panel is matching numbered "96". Kind of unique, this pistol has an odd plumb colored spot on the receiver - as shown in photos. This could have been to a flaw in production heat treatment, but we are not sure. The pistol is all original and fully functional guaranteed.
