8/7/20 - This is an original and rare variation Luger holster from WW1. The interior lid is regiment issue marked to a machine gun unit. The stamp is "4.E.M.G.K.18.A.K." for the 4th Ersatz Battalian Machine Gun Company (Mashinengewehr Kompany), A.K. - Artilleriekolonne (artillery column) and weapon number 18. There is also the original maker stamp and date stamp still visible amidst the machine gun unit stamp. finally, there is a large black ink stamp "BA V II". The leather is strong with a mild amount of surface cracking (minor). All original stitching in tact. Excellent for a WW1 era holster.
