2/20/19 - This is an original Swiss model 1906 pistol. Collectors refer to this as the '06/24 because they were put into military service around 1924 and originally adopted from DWM in 1906. The Approximately 17,000 of these pistols were made for the Swiss military. This pistol has been "P" stamped, meaning this was meant to be sold to the public (for commercial use). The Luger has fixed sights, with a blank chamber and the top of the toggle marked with a Geneva Cross over "WAFFENFABRIK / BREN". The right side of the barrel extension has a small Geneva Cross with the reverse having a boxed "+ / M" Colonel Muhlemann proof and a "BP". Full serial number on barrel and front of frame with a small Geneva Cross on the barrel. The finish on this one rates at about 93% with some thinning on the grip straps and barrel. There's also some wear to the straw parts and sideplate. Minty bore. Comes with excellent original magazine and grips. Grips are numbered to the gun. Guaranteed original and fully functional.
