SOLD - G Date Mauser S/42 Luger

4/23/18 - This is an all original and matching G Date Mauser Luger from pre WW2 Germany. The pistol has all small parts matching numbered 95. The serial number is "8395 a". The pistol has some normal edge wear and light signs of use and aging, as is expected. There is some spotting (dark spots) on the barrel, and on the muzzle. The straw parts are nice but there is some thinning throughout the straw and edge wear. The front and back straps show significant bluing loss and some browning / patina. This is expected on most G Date Lugers though, and there is no active rust or pitting. Overall we rate at about 90-92% of the bluing and original finish is in tact. The bore is an 8 out of 10 with some normal patina and wear within the grooves, but there's no major issues with the rifling on the bore. Guaranteed original.
