7/22/20 - This is a fairly rare, unique Luger holster from the end of Luger production. This holster is unique in that it has a '42 ink stamp on the interior of the lid, yet the back of the holster is '41 dated. We believe this was put together from two different pigskin pieces of leather, and made this way back in 1942. The stitching is congruent throughout the holster which helps back this theory. Also interesting is the lack of maker code on the back leather. We see a '41 date and waffen proof but no maker code. The leather has nice shape and has faded to a brownish color, especially on the back leather. This would have been dyed black when it left the factory. Normal pliability and great stitching with minimal stitching issues.
