7/23/20 - This is an original 1942 dated P.38 holster. The holster has normal pliability and some cracking on the surface of the lid and closure strap, as shown in photos. The metal closure ring has very minor "play". Stitching is all tight and original. Maker stamped, dated, and waffen proofed on the back leather.
