6/21/18 - This is an original WW1 era production German Hunting Association knife. The knife is beautifully engraved with two forestry scenes; one of deer and the other of a fox and dog. The spine of the blade has a leaf-like engraved pattern. The blade is WKC maker stamped and in excellent condition. The edge is not very sharp, but there are no signs of tampering or alteration throughout the blade. The stag handle is excellent. Both the pommel and hand guard show normal dark patina. The leather scabbard stop is excellent and original. The scabbard has normal patina and finish wear but there's not rust or pitting, and the stretched leather body of the scabbard is excellent and in tact. Beautiful craftsmanship and quality. These are very hard to find in this condition. Guaranteed original and authentic.
