6/18/20 - This is an original U.S. Mare Island No. 11 flag. The header is ink stamped and made in 1944. The No. 11 refers to the size of the flag, with 11 being the 2nd smallest size (and therefore more desirable). There are a few small holes around the stars area of the flag (blue backing), but overall in great condition. The hook rings have some rust around them as well, but this is normal. Some dark spotting on the header as well. Stitching is all original and in tact.
