6/14/21 - This is a rare variation 1944 dated P.38 hardshell style holster. The holster is "lyo" maker stamped, which is a stamp associated with a work camp in Poland during WW2. Made from scrap leather and often found in very poor condition with multi colored pieces of leather. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, and waffen proof stamped. Unfortunately there are a few issues with this holster. First is the initials and date scratched into the back leather and numbers stamped into the front leather. Second, the left belt loop is not attached at the base - see photos. Third, there is surface cracking on the magazine pouch. Overall intact however, and a rare find at a reasonable price.
